Td04l is only one step up from a tf035. VF36 is pretty much a twin scroll vf34

But yeah, 2.0 w/6mt = win for me :)

They only came with 5mt.

Fitting a 6mt isnt a big deal. Gen4 6mts are under 3k

I didnt think it was the vf36 Iain, that came on the v8 spec c (jdm) and the vf37 on the v8 sti same as mine :)

Didnt think they came on much else.... Could be wrong?

Correct.

First four gears are different ratios, the centre diff isn't as heavy (affecting AWD grip), and the front diff is open, where as the STi is likely to have some sort of funky front diff (sure track), and a heavier centre diff (different front to rear ratio).

Yeah i know the vf36 was on the spec c. Subaru put something on the sti lib off an sti in their range... Cant remember what...

Am i right in thinking they are not at all comparable to an STi 6 speed?


the early gen4 boxes are physically the same. Different shifter, no dccd, open diff, pretty sure the ratios are the same as Foz STi... Or maybe that is the AUDM sti ratios... Late gen4 boxes dont have an external speedo drive but theyre easy to get put in.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Torrential rain tonight and a Posted Image'ed master cylinder for my brakes made me hit a gutter today and I'm pretty sure I just Posted Image'ed up atleast my radiator in my E30..

Managed to get the car off the gutter and onto the road, and looked under and just saw coolant pouring out.. My mate lived like 2 mins away so I limped the car home and I didn't seem to overheat except for get maybe 3/4 high temp guage.. Filled my car up with his hose hoping it'd last till I got home and I did..

***** Posted Image'ed though I was such an idiot.. Was going round a roundabout a little bit quick and some ***** didnt see me I had to veer and pull out.I

I guess this is the one situation where the suby and it's ABS and AWD would come in handy.
