You buy Racelands if you want the thing on the ground. They don't do anything else.

And no, Impreza one's don't fit.
GH are the closest, but still don't work.

About the same as a lowered Legacy/Liberty or if you've got standard OBK stuff still in your car, like 2" - 2.5" lower.

Umm, Bilsteins. Just like a "base" model version, but they can still be re-valved etc.

what if i just pulled the blocks out put legacy struts on with lowering springs?

Basically doesn't do anything (although is a must if your going to really dump the car), they are more for getting the CV's, prop shaft etc at the right angles.

No, you don't have to take the blocks (and other crap) out. I went for years and years lowered (really low) and didn't have anything happen.

Stuff to "de-lift" it PROPERLY that needs to be taken out/swapped;
* Liberty/Legacy gearbox crossmember
* Liberty/Legacyrear crossmember bolts
* Liberty/Legacy front "compression" brackets (go at the front of the front crossmember to the radiator support)
* Liberty/Legacy front of the rear crossmember braces (like a C shaped brace that bolts to the front of the crossmember to the trailing arm bracket)
* Liberty/Legacy rear of the rear crossmember braces (thin brackets that locate into the floor/chassis)
* Liberty/Legacy tailshaft - to match YOUR manual or auto (splines are different between them)
* Take out the RH side bracket for the rear sway bar - it's just an extra brace/spacer.
* 1" (or so) spacers to space the front crossmember U-Bolt nuts down - or find/buy some Liberty/Legacy ones.
* Liberty/Legacy or Bugeye STi (other models probably work/fit too) steering uni/knuckle (joins the rack to the column).
* Could also get either the Whiteline rear camber bushes or arm kit, stock adjustment is basically non-existent.
* A wheel alignment

Have fun...

Edit - how hard? If you've got access to a hoist, rattle/impact guns, and a decent tool box could probably do it in a few hours.
None/some of it - I wouldn't bother starting.
FWIW, I had everything except the hoist and it took almost a full day in the end.
