What im about to say is probably going to destroy the small amount of credit i have on this forum,, but here goes.

Why do people give so much hate to Falcons/Commodores?

I honestly dont understand it. This is a subaru forum, so people here are obviously in favour of subaru, but it seems that any car-specific forum you go to bags out Aussie cars.

Can someone enlighten me?

It's simple, really.

Drive one for a week.

Then drive a Subaru.

They aren't great to drive.

I don't hate them though.

In a few years you'll probably find a Commodore in my driveway :)

I enjoy driving my dads VY S. Personally I prefer the VY/VZ over the VE. Handles well, but it is a little lazy, like you'll be sitting at 80 and wanting 100, it takes a sec to think about it (its an auto, keeping in mind my B4 is also auto) however the lazy long strokes of power and high torque is the appeal of them. For a long distance drive, I would prefer the Commodore. Its seats are more comfortable and its quieter. But of course I enjoy the B4 more for fun times. I'll probably own one eventually, especially for a family truckster. Holden is a staple diet in my family.

However it is an S, I don't enjoy driving the base models, dad was telling me he 'chopped' 2 bogans off the driveway at his work, they had fully sick 'modified' executives of similar age, so the ECU tune in his does make a difference. They have been hanging shit on him all week saying its a V8 apparently lol.

But you don't hear me hating on here anyway.

Morninngggg.

Had a mad ass dinner last night. Roasted pork belly pizza, with caramelised pear, with monzarella cheese, olives and a balsamic vinegarette topping.
