Speeding and driving too fast for the conditions are not always the same thing, driving too fast for the conditions is always the worse of the two, speeding is just complying with an arbitrary number some bureaucrat has chosen with minimal engineering / scientific input. RIP to the blokes, condolences to the families, no doubt it will be the worst Christmas ever for them.
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Goes to show they are "pressed" together, judging by the whole left/right side of the car.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

I dare anyone to complain about speed cameras or clamping down on hooks doing burnouts after this. My thoughts are particularly with the police, ambos and fireys who had to clean up afterwards."
Burnouts? is this bloke

For sure, it's all about conditions.
That's a 70km/h zone with a bend. Who the shit does 120 into a bend.
Also, for the speed camera fanbois - in that first pic, the traffic lights you can see in the background have a red light camera. Seems speed cameras didn't save lives afterall.

VE was (i think) the first commodore to have an entire side of the car in one piece, apparently it was safer then splitting it up into sections, but more expensive to repair if you hit something. It WAS a VE apparently.
I can go faster around corners and whatnot in my lib then my falc or commo, fills you with a false sense of security, that makes you push it harder.Lol some of those other comments are talking about restricting under 25's to 4cyl cars because "slower is safer".
As a somewhat wise man said to me once, "The only way to find the limit of your talent and the cars ability is to loose control, What you do from then on is your own forking fault".

Do you live your life a quater mile at a time?
Red light camera isnt a speed camera???
True, but shouldn't the infringement his grieving family gets in the post in 3 months time save his life?
