Hi all been doing a search for an e85 tester today and figured I may as well search for new servos with this liquid gold in my area in victoria, the last time i did a search was not so long ago so didn't expect to find many if any at all and bang Iv'e got a united servo with e85 5 min from me so I rang them to check that they do stock it and they said they do but have only had it for about a week lol

So now I will no longer need the flex fuel from caltex unless I can't get it from united so very happy with this development as I'll be doing my full tune in about a week so I can tune with out the need to worry about varying levels of ethanol since it's coming from united and not caltex having said that the flex fuel is still very very good, I'll still be buying a tester tomorrow from speed pro in dandy as always good to keep an eye on the quality ;-)

So here's all the united ones that as of today's search are selling E85

Balwyn 99 Balwyn Road Balwyn VIC 3103
Braeside 402 - 404 Lower Dandenong Road Braeside VIC 3195
Corio 160-164 Bacchus Marsh Road Corio VIC 3214
Croydon 338 Dorset Road Croydon VIC 3136
Fitzroy North 390 Nicholson Street Fitzroy North VIC 3065
Hallam Cnr Princes Highway & Belgrave Hallam Road Hallam VIC 3803
Hoppers Crossing 160 Old Geelong Road Hoppers Crossing VIC 3029
Morwell 169 Princes Drive Morwell VIC 3840
Patterson Lakes 1 Thompson Road

PS: woohoo

I would love to take the Legacy off of daily duties and switch to E85. But Sydney is total ass in terms of availability.

Do those testers just separate the fuel by leaving it for a while? Than show the percentage of ethanol?

So.... E85 is safe? Its apparently 105 octane. What tuning do i need to run it? Or can i just throw it in the tank?

Im out of the loop on this one guys.

As far as i know, you need some plumbing changed to nylon or something...and yes you need a tune, though it burns cooler so you can add more timing etc ;)
