One question I have about adjusting these bad boys is, I set the lengths of the front the same, but the passenger side sits higher still, should I just adjust that one coil over length so that it matches the driver side height? Or should they both be the same length??

anyone here experienced Tein SS? Are they any good?

FYI, I am a springs/shocks man.

DIY till your fingers bleed or the part breaks. Only then take in to a professional who won't do the work as meticulously as youself

I am tossing up wether or not to go with coilovers or a good spring/strut combo for my new foz.. I have BC BR coilovers in my liberty atm but they are to stiff for me, even on the lowest dampening setting.. I am thinking of running with the BC V1 coilovers with rubber upper mounts or even go with KIDO's with rubber upper mounts..

Not looking so much for the performance gains of coilovers but more for the ride height adjustability and a fairly comfortable ride..

Not really. Not enough adjustable enough. I'd get good springs & struts over them OR pay similar money for BC BR's or more for Tein Flex's.

Something's not right then - you can get BC's to go softer than a WRX's stock suspension.
You would of seen Chris' and Morgz Forester's, they are both on struts and springs. If you want it lower or like you said more adjustment, you'll need coilovers.

Luke, to get them that soft do you need to change springs?

Nup. Chucked some in my brothers WRX, put them at 20 from hard, and the thing rode like a boat/Caddy.
Pre-load was set so collar was touching the spring, then up 5mm.
They are are 5 clicks stiffer*** now and is basically stock WRX firmness.

*** To adjust them either hard or soft - you HAVE to wind them full hard first, then back down.
This is the same for basically all coilovers.

Oh ok, I haven't adjusted the dampening yet. I'm
Happy with it.

But mine came with the springs already on it aswell so i didn't change the preload!

Was just curious! Cheers!

i have had Buddy Club Junior specs in my wrx for about 3 weeks now. the ride is great i have the dampening set at about 3/4 and its a little bumpy set at half is a good firm ride.

Only thing that shitting me is this knocking that coming from one of my fronts for some reason. I can understand why only 1 pillow ball out of the 3 would be knocking so im chasing that atm

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans
