I had Kevlar splits in the front of my old wagon, but mine were yellow!

Got the ones you have up front in the back of my wagon now, but again they are yellow :)

Alex, I think, for the price, they perform pretty well. But im not that fussy with speakers anymore and don't really turn it up that loud

I've used Jaycar speakers (car and home theatre) a few times before. They won't win any sound quality competitions, but for the price they're really good.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

See if you can find some DD 6.5" splits; http://ddaudio.com/m...coax/cs-65.aspx
You'll be hard pressed to find better bang for your buck and speakers that actually will produce decent bass.

2002 Outback - it's gone...

I have heard very good things about DD's. Just need to find the time/money/retailer...

My audio setup isn't anything spesh. Just functional.

Are you speakers the original ones Alex? My fronts tore themselves in half a while ago too.

I had originals, which were some sort of kevlar reinforced speakers from the factory! But the rubber boots had perished, and they sounded like total ass.

So I replaced them with some Ryda dual cone $30 pioneer specials, about three years ago, but the passenger front one has gone again.

Don't really want to go splits... some coaxs/dual cones or even single cone woofers would do the trick. The 207 and potato make enough music.

Sorry Morgs.

Hi,

DD linear are fantastic Alpine speakers, I loved the clarity in the Foz.

Cheers,
Nik

If you're not really concerned about awesome sound quality just go response Alex. Good sound quality, good price. Coming from $30 cheapies they should sound quite good by comparison.

Yeah, they're a shallow 6" from rusty memory.
