Are shallow speakers readily available for these or will you need to do some sort of spacer such as Morgrans?

I doubt you'll find a set shallow coax speakers...
6" kevlar coax are $90. $72 in orders of 10 or more. Group buy? :P

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

If 10 people are interested, sure. 10 people that have $71 that is.

Perhaps create a thread to gauge interest so we don't hijack Alexmans thread?

Are the coax the ones with the little speaker in the middle of the big speaker?

Technical I know!

Just gotta watch those ones because there may be some clearance issues at the front

Hijack away.

After all, this was an exhijack thread, and we don't want to overwork admin here in terms of starting up new threads!

I could be down with a set at $71.... If we could confirm they'd fit!!

Haha no dramas.. yeah I would be down with a set for the B4 if they fit.

Sick and tired of hear that gay rattle/vibrating sound during songs from a fugged speaker.

Looks like they dont really do the splits anymore!

Not too worries about the grills. I guess we can get the dremel out to shave some guts out of it.

Hi,

It would be nice to have a thread dedicated to the group buy if someone is willing to be the caretaker of the order?

I would be happy to pony up $72 for a set of fronts. Plus p/h obviously.

Cheers,
Nik

Well, there is like 3 or 4 of us at least..... I do think a thread is in order.. I would volunteer to host such a buy, however I just don't know how much time I would have given my work schedule.... guess I could if no one else is keen though?

Alex, did your car come with splits? Or is that an audm thing?

It did come with a rudimentary split type of system. Just a resistor on the tweeters. Not a proper split system.

Oh ok, so there is a provision for it up on the corner of the door?

Was just curious as to why you weren't interested in a split system
