That would be awesome, Are the Diffs any different to the auto's?

Hayden.

Yes, the centre diff is 50/50 and the rear diff is a Viscous LSD (or VLSD)

Didn't the v3 STi box run a 65/35 center diff?

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

DCCD 'boxes do. V3 STi is regular open centre, not a DCCD.

Score. Then you just need box, tailshaft, pedals, clutch master cylinder/slave cylinder/pressure plate/friction dics/throwout bearing/spigot bearing, and flywheel.

I see, thanks Marv, thought all STi boxes were 65/35.

The LX ran a cable clutch, you might have issue mounting a master cylinder to it?

Pedals might be fine - although RS Libs had cruise control so if you want that you'll need the microswitch to go with it (as cruise cancels when you push the clutch in)

Cluster is no good. Turbo models run an electronic cluster, not a cable one, and also run a hydraulic clutch set-up so you'll still need the master/slave set-up from a 5-speed turbo. Note, 6-speed is different.

My Legacy doesn't have cruise so that shouldn't matter.
Let the collection of parts begin ha.

Except for the small matter of it being cable operated vs a turbo's hydraulic clutch set-up... I don'tknow if there's a difference in the pedals, but it wouldn't surprise me given how the turbo one works.
