also thinking of matte black wraping the roof and front pillers.

IMO, DO NOT wrap the front pillars black. leave them white.

Cars look frecken sexy with black roofs, but keeping the body colour along the top of the windows and the pillars is a must!!! IMO

Like, just for instance, my mate got this done to his VRX:

I have, there's that black strip plus a very small mould towards the back and the front from memory... and then so what if there's a little edge showing imo... better than a two tone car done wrong

up to you dude :)

ok so as some of you may know i poped my stock sti v3 motor the other month, so insted of just going for a sti motor ive started fresh and doing bigger and better things. so here is where im at as of tonight........
i am building the motor and setting it up to run a big aps-sr40 turbo, hot cams, and make over 220kw atw but thats stage 2 and this is sage one.

parts list,

bottom end:

closed deck block bored to 92.5
manley forged pistions .5 over size
forged H beam rods
acl race bearings, big ends and mains
chrome molly billet steel crank thats had the oil gailerys modded
12mm oil pump
arp case bolts
arp rod bolts

topend:

v3 sti heads - tophat shim style buckets.
supertec double spring valve springs
titanium valve retainers
arp head bolts
v3 sti cams
3 layer head gaskets

other new bits:
EL extractors
silicone under manifold pipe
full water to air intercooler set up
light weight extream flywheel

thats all the bits for the new motor, ive already got the heads back and should have the block case halfs back so i can start to put it all together this weekend and have everything detailed and clean ready to drop into the car next weekend if im lucky. and then dad is bringing the water-air intercooler set up home in his carry-on bag from QLD when he gose up in 2 weeks.
my dead line to have it in the car and running and all run-in is the weekend befor the Hunter cruise. so wish me luck hahahaha.

now for some pics...
