Trying to get my mate to get a cubby gauge pod for his GC8 instead of using the mounting cup on the column. He wants a boost gauge. I thought pillar mount was a defect these days? Brakes look great, Mark does a good job with them.

Its not quiet a pillar pod, it sorta sits down right in the corner. Doesnt obstruct any view so hopefully will get away with it.. Only time will tell..

And yeah Im pretty happy with the brakes. Not sure of the colour yet but will make my final judgement once they go on and the black rims go on.

Ah damn.

Didn't follow whole thread as was on my phone before.
Sorry to hear about the vandals :/
My car was egged last night.. I guess that's nothing compared to what you copped.

Planning on setting up a cam to record in my car.. Just gotta find one that will serve the purpose..

Yeah i saw your thread. Its bad enough when you do something but it pains you twice as much when someone else wrecks your pride and joy. Once i have my car back im getting a car cover. Until I find a suitable house to move into, one with a big garage or shed.

It's always fukin retard kids and if it's an adult, it's someone with a grudge. Least thats my understanding of the dogs? :( My missus's street is constantly egged. One night I was lucky as i came home after they did the neighbours new impreza RS (stock) and caused some nice paint chippin smack bang in the middle of the door

Definitely,

I think I was more pissed off because we've had a few incidents.
I have to count myself lucky, I can't even see any damage.

Ive been doin nearly all of it myself (under the guidance of mechanic). Learnt so much about the car in a day and a half. Currently the motor is out ready to have all the gaskets replaced, just dont have photos. Will hopefully have it done by next weekend. We had a few stubborn bolts/surprise bolts but we're good where we are now.

Timing belt was changed not long before I purchased the car but whoever did it didnt put the crank angle sensor cover back on properly and it rubbed on the belt. So ordered a new one, good save really.

Got the flywheel machined and new clutch $615 all up. This job is becoming more expenisive then first thought but all worth it by doing it now.

Hopefull will have the Foz back up and running this weekend. I have been busy the last couple of weeks so its been slow going and its been killing me. Must say ive learnt heaps and Im glad i did it the way I have though.

Also, Ive got a set of Enkei 18s that are currently getting painted gloss black and Kuhmo KU27's to go on as well.

Really wanting to sell my liberty coilovers so i can get some for the Foz. Trying to hold out till i do sell them but its getttin harder and harder.
