I know right, biggest f**k around/mission of a job. Rewarding thing was i did 90% of it myself. For a surveyor Id sy thats pretty good.

Heres some shots of it this morning. Will hopefully have the PW intercooler and CAI on this arvo with pics. Disregard the rims, They are only on it as the stock ones have 2 slashed tyres and the new rims are out for paint.

Went over the whoe car this weeknd and gave it a really good clean. Wasnt to dirty as it hasnt really been driven since I bought the thing. But heres some happy snaps.

Also decided to put in the GD WRX seats Id bought for the liberty originally. Fully cleaned the carpet underneath and dropped them in. I have a little dilema with the drivers side wiring with the airbag but hopefully will have that sorted in the next week or 2.

The old seats

And the new seats

Cant wait to get my rims back from paint and get them on. Still need to sell my other coilovers so I can score some for this. Absolutely loving driving it.

Oh and heres a better pic of the guts.

I also fixed the sticking clutch. Gave it a bleed and got a few bubbles. Happy days now.

What did you do with the other seats?
+ how much are you asking for coilovers?

800 for the coilovers and 350 for the forester seats. They come with airbags to.

Just got home from a drive and I've sprung a leak. One of the radiator hoses has a split so it's not all that bad. Probably damaged it when pulling the motor out.

I'm waiting for a mate to pull his finger out and do them. He's got shhitloads of work on ATM so it's understandable. And I'm getting them done dirt cheap so can't really complain. Looking at gettin an exhaust in the coming weeks an then off to get a tune. 3 port boost solenoid might be on the cards to.

Nice looking Foz, sucks to hear about all the issues though. Sounds like you have good plans for it.

Cheers mate, its starting to come along. Still along way from where i want it to be. Time is the biggest hurdle at the moment but.

On another note,

I finally got my mate to paint the rims I bought off AEK ages ago. I wanted just gloss black but my mate put the smallest bit of silver fleck in the clear coat.

When I first heard this, I was like 'WTF?'. But they come out awesome. Its not blingy at all.
He said he thought it would go well with the silver on the Foz so Im just guna roll with it (no pun intended lol).
