Hey Everyone,
Opinions would be greatly appreciated! I'm about to upgrade my wheels and after ALOT of precrastination decided to go plain matt black or plain dark gunmetal grey. I've narrowed the choice down to 2.....Koya RG Tek and Koya CR Tek. The size i will be getting is 18x8.5 with somewhere between a 25 - 32 offset (would appreciate some guidance on this) so that the rims sits flush with the guards. The tyres are likely to be 215.

All advice/comments/feedback will be greatly received!

On a sidenote the 18in CSA Motrvators that are currently on it are up for grabs for $400- including the tyres which i would say have only done about 2000-3000 careful driving ks so at least 80-85% tread all round and no gutter rash or marks on the wheels.

Thanks to all in advance!

Sorry..i forgot to add that the CR TEK is the matt black and the RG TEK is the Dark Gunmetal.

you are going to need some serious camber if you want 18x8.5 with +25 offset to fit.

my previous wheels were 18x8.5 with +44 (235/40) and it was a squeeze (roll guards a must also)

p.s don't put girly sized rubber on a nice wide wheel. use the correct tyre width for the wheel width.

Thanks to everyone for there feedback...It's been a tough call but i'm leaning towards the CRs mainly because they are a matt finish and for the record (in case anyone's interested in this brand of wheel) they customise to suit offsets, stud patterns (hence no stud holes in the CR image) etc so a pretty good product i think....both models are also fairly light as well....

if thats just wheels no tyres its not that cheap. genuine work cr kai's can be had for not much more on import monster even ebay at times.

two quick sets theres alot around

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

Hey Cameron,
Can't open the links unfortunately...I didn't think it was bad value considering you can customise them to suit exactly how you want the wheel to sit on the car......I did just do a little trawling on the net as well and the cr kais are over my budget anyways..thanks for the tips always appreciated....:)

Hi All,
Got the new wheels and tyres fitted yesterday..decided on the CR Teks...ended up going 18x8.5 on 215/40s. What's everyone think? and should i go more low? :scratch_one-s_head:
