Looked bigger than that. Seriously there waves breaking in places I've never seen waves break before. And in the usual spots it was breaking a good 30m further out! Wild.

The wind is probably white capping it and making it look bigger as well, not that 4m is small, it is about 4-5m up home in that pic that I posted from today, but you will notice it is mostly smooth because there is no wind carrying the spray and capping it all off. Also if the tide is high where you are Bretty shit will be nastier.

It is just the constant 'ing hand-outs. If you must have this dumbarse 'ing carbon tax at least keep the money and invest it (a majority of it) into clean energy industries instead of handing it to "low income earners" I know this will sound slack, but the reason they are probably low income earners is because they are 'ing lazy and useless, why give them more money? won't help them learn to be better people when they are being handed everything from the government.. So much for the tax being an environmental tax... just another way to take money from businesses and hand it down to the "poor" in a bid to get votes.

Having spent the better part of 30 years surfing on this coast, plus 4 years racing yachts offshore here, I can safely say I fully understand how wind affects water and the waves.
It's bigger than 3-4m.
