Rather eventful night last night... 11:00pm(ish) was at a friends place watching a movie when my friends mum calls "Get *friend* over here, theres a guy outside trying to get into the house...." "On our way" *hang up*
My mate, my friend and I all stand up and grab our keys, then run out the door to our cars.
30 seconds or so latter we all pull up out the front, and the bloke is gone, we check that friends mum is alright and friend jumps back into his car and in seeing this i jump back into mine... Then a hole bunch of fast and furious shit happened, we spotted him just around the corner, told him if we see him again cops will be called (not that they would do anything of course, just to scare him off) we then went back to friends house and sat there for an hour or so making sure the guy didnt come back.

Before you say "Shoulda just called the cops, duuuurrrrrrp" this has happened once before and the cops never showed up. Another time I called the cops because two doors down a woman was getting bashed, they took an hour to show up... and when they did they just drove past slowly... the guy came back 15 minutes latter and went at it again, called the cops again and they took an hour and a half to show up this time... they pulled up out the front for a few seconds and drove off again.

We all knew it could have been really dangerous, but she is the most lovely woman you could ever meet, and mates look after mates families.

Hour or so latter, drove around the neighborhood a few time to make sure the guy wasnt still walking around... no sign of him. So hopefully they are fine. Bout to drive around there now and make sure.
