Time will tell, but I don't think what they have is going to make them $$ on the scale of WA, RE's are on the rise and the flavour of the day but the market isn't the same as Iron Ore. It takes the Coal production of NSW and QLD combined to only just edge ahead $ wise of WA's Iron Ore. Western NSW has one of the worlds largest Lead/Silver/Zinc deposits that is currently being mined, but the demand for that isn't like Iron Ore. SA has Uranium, but now NSW has allowed mining of it as well since Barry got into power, it won't be a game changer as the volumes of these type of elements just isn't there.
You know that I do understand. I also understand, as you do, that SA's exposure to resource based economy is only going to rise (ain't that right, Tom?) and with that the housing sector wont just stabilise, it will push past and start to see the same trends (I didn't say same growth) as WA's RE market. I could be wrong though. But it makes sense in my head.

hahahahahahaSA can pretty much hang its hat on proximity to WA anyway.
You just can't compete with the I.O. in WA though man, its too much of a behemoth compared to all other mining. (Natural Gas might be the only thing in the future to have a run at it)
BTW NT is the hidden gem of mining, I know of some recently discovered Multimillion ounce gold finds that are now actively being mined and a few other promising projects that could well produce more of these style deposits, some drilling has started so time shall tell.. NT also has some high grade tungsten/Molybdenum ore bodies.

do you let a 180kg person in your car anyway? One fart could kill everything in a three kilometre radius.
Morgan/otherforesterpeople the STi Foresters, were they called an XT Sti (SG9 this is) or just an STi Forester or what ?

Rach's cousin was 180, before he got the band surgery a few months back. Dunno how people can get that big without doing anything.

Nik, Re that Miami cheerleaders song. I posted that yesterday arvo.
Now that I am a bit more proficient with checkin' in on the GT with my phone, I tend to miss a lot more. Say if I check in on my phone, and then realise I didn't actually have to shit, I miss multiple pages next time I check new/latest posts.
I've been repostin' steady over the last few weeks.

He must have saw that he dropped his phone, slammed on his brakes and his carbon forks snapped in two!!!
He landed square on his check/jaw and was bruised and bleeding all over already. Poor bloke.
So I stayed there until he called work and said what happened.
I was a really expensive specialised bike too. Can’t believe the forks just snapped out of nowhere.
He looked pretty dazed like the crash had knocked him out.
So that made for an interesting ride.

Did you gank his wheels?
@Ren: By my calculations, you are putting at least 400kg of weight into your Mazder 121. If you were often driving around in your Subie, with an extra 400KG of weight stuffed into the cabin, are you not wondering if perhaps there was a strain put on the car?
To contextualise: Other things that weigh about 400 Kg: Cow; Hooded Seal; Hammerhead Shark; Two to three gorillas
