Hi Guys,

I'm in search for either a Blitzen or S401 GRILL (or even a DIY grill)
I like the look it's uncomplicated and understated.

I've seen a few threads here don't really like the JDM style with the vertical bar in the middle.

If you can give me any tips on a DIY or where to find these RARE grills, would be much appreciated!

The new american member, Jon DIY'd his grille into something very similar to this. So if you ask him how he did it?

Crusin just finished mine off (albeit for a gen 4). Fibreglass, bog, sand, mesh, done!

If you can view it, here's the thread: http://forum.liberty...hp?f=20&t=16488

Looks great!

However on the GEN3 I think the mesh should be smaller as above in pics :)
Love to know how i could DIY with a spare grill the same as mine and see how it turns out.

if you have a butchers hook on japanparts.com i have seen a few S401 & blitzen style ones. but they are expensive and shipping is an arm. buuuuut if its really what you want and don't mind splurging your hard earned bread and honey then thats probably your go. otherwise yahoo auctions japan.

why don't you just modify your current grill? $500+ is A LOT of money for something you can do yourself in a afternoon..

When you narrow it down i think its only nearly 30 pages. And i have looked through all of them, my eyes were so dry after. IM have a few but again its too much postage. I ordered some door sills, paid $5 but ended up being $101 total including postage... :/

Anyone know if this would fit?

I think it's from GEN3 Wagon - never seen the grill before.

I know I'm bringing back an old thread, but I dig the look of these grills too! Just if anyone else is looking to have one like this it might help as there isn't too much on them. Couldn't find one so I DIY'd it a few weeks ago and I'm stoked with how it turned out. I did a bit of a dodgy job on some little bits but so I'm fixing it up properly tomorrow
