Get him to fix it all.

I wasn't trying to convince at all.

I think it's a nice car. But doesn't mean you have to. Though I am disappointed to hear about the paint!

Rach's parents bought their dogs a nice new pillow/bed for their log cabin (kennel) yesterday.

This is what it looked like this morning

Gets new bed, rips apart and sleeps on hard ground.

Because Jewdog.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

After trying for half an hour I have managed to get him on the phone, I don't think he thought I was this fussy, but he is going to 'look at it' on monday. Kept my cool and I am not too fussed on the clips, you can't see the worst ones (done on purpose no doubt), but the clearcoat and bubbling is inexcusable.

I left it with him for a week hoping he would do a decent job, farkin pissed! :diablo:

A panel beater should be able to remove clips without breaking them. What if you ever need to remove them?

Should take care and pride in his work!

Maybe you guys are too fussy? :P I suppose, I didn't know what to expect because I've kept away from the hype. Plus, I haven't been in that many new cars.

I think they are rubbish. I was very disappointed, like you were Josh. And let me tell you, a man of my stature sitting in those seats was not the most confortable. And I absolutled HATED the interior finish. It just feels cheap. Kinda like what Hyundai were say 10 years ago. Reminded me of an Excel tbh.

Indeed.

Just passed a silver 86 with green P's. Not bad. Definitely catches your eye on the road. Pretty keen to go test drive one though.

That sucks, Chris. Definitely take it back and demand them to fix it.

My thoughts exactly. I'll get him to replace them. What amazes me is that he has done work for us before, why he thought he could take advantage of me is beyond me. He even tried to charge me more than the quote! But he backed out when I pulled him up on it. Have notified my father who has also dealth with him, and he will be coming with me when I pick it up monday week.

What seems to have happened is he is struggling business wise, has laid off staff and is running the show himself. I won't be going back after it is acceptable.

Bullshit - YOUR website says $29,990.

Maybe we should settle this argument and ask nik?

Not wrecked, all personal stuff. Our 4x4 roof started to rust along the seals, so we had that fixed. Bonnet on dads car had a mark on it since we bought it, so had that fixed. Sisters door got a car door opened on it very badly. So we have got some history with the bloke and every other fix has been spot on. Why mine looks like a high school shop project at the moment is making me RAAAGE. Like seriously, I am on the verge of violence lol.

MSRP. Dealers add every other bullshit charge they can think of to it to get a starting price of $35K for a GT Manual with no options.
Circa $44K for a GTS Auto with no options.

You are probably right, I am being hard on the car.. I guess it was soo hyped up that it was a big way to come down when I finally seen it.. I kind of expected that it would be though.
