I have no idea what oil the previous owner of my wagon used (I can only assume whatever they use at Subaru dealerships as all of his services were done there), however when Ben from ICHIban performed my minor service, he swapped me over to Penrite. Best oil to use apparently. Have been completely pleased with the performance of my engine so it is doing everything right so far.

Penrite HPR10 for sure.

I can't remember what exact one was put in mine. Must investigate.

I've converted to Delvac MX for now.

Ben keeps trying to get me on Penrite 10-50, I'll give it a whirl in the future.

Fun fact: Mobil Delvac MX is made by Fuchs.

@Josh. Woy Woy Repco have one or two bottles of Delvac MX on the shelf :)

Cool.

I'm not due for a change for a while but I'll grab them.

I've been on the Magnatech for the last 2 changes and I'm not that impressed.  The K's are quite high so when the oil isn't performing I notice.

I find that canola oil is not too bad.

But seriously, currently using Nulon 10-40, used it a few times, might give the Delvac or Penrite a shot for the cruise up to HV.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Ive found that im not burning through oil with delvac anywhere near close to what i did with penrite and smurf blood which is why ill stick with it plus its half the price.

Plus the little pull out funnel thing is the shit. Im easily impressed but

What exactly do you notice??

I tried Nulon before Magnatech. No complaints with it I suppose. With the Magnatech I notice general engine smoothness drop off a lot earlier and more cranking for cold starts.  I change every 5k and in my opinion the Magnatech appears to be in a worse condition than the Nulon after this time. Look and feel.

I'm interested in tring Delvac to make my own decision on it. The price is good too.

I accept that the age of my engine may be a contributing factor and I'm not looking for a miracle oil but I'm willing to try different brands & types to find one that I believe suits my engines needs.

At this point I don't believe Maganatech suits my engine's needs.

To answer your question simply.... poorer performance sooner and an obviously more deteriorated oil when I change.
