What is the prescribed penalty for what you've done? Three month suspension?
My first DUI was when I was on my P plates, when I blew .023 so I was .003 over - even the cop was upset about it, seriously. I lost my licence for 6 months, had to start from scratch getting it back, and my insurance went birko! I had a lawyer, four character references, and I wore a suit (idiot... now I know you HAVE TO wear your work uniform).
My other DUI's aren't really relevant to you though.
Cheers,
Nik

Three.
.023
.154
.314
Proud of none.
Four actually, if you count when I totalled the Forester. I blew just over .05, but they were local cops and they threw away the ticket. I think they figured a lesson was learnt just by having to look at my smashed face in the mirror.

Nik

If I get done again I'm going back to jail - I very narrowly escaped incarceration on my last court date.
Complacency when you live in a rural area is so easy to slip into. I make no excuses, just a fuckin' idiot I guess.

Nik

I don't understand this?
And yes, 3 months technically.

I'd take the three months. But I guess these days they probably knock you all the way back to L plates?
Work uniform shows you are gainfully employed, and straight after your hearing you're headed to work. A hair over on a breath test and true remorse will get you the lowest penalty, have you got your summons yet?

Nik

Hi,
After speaking to others that have been in a similar situation, first time offenders generally get let off and just receive a fine.
I shall wear my work uniform.

Nick.

Best of luck with it all.
