Port Kembla coal terminal Has shelved one of their major upgrades.

Lots of people will be losing the job that they have just recently accepted!

(we were meant to be doing the engineering!)

(we were meant to be doing the engineering!)

we are in a similar situation at the moment, a few projects we had tendered on and looked to be getting from 3 months ago in the coal mines in the hunter valley have now been shelved indefinately. no idea when they will happen now.

luckily the Civil building industry isnt doing too bad for us at the moment

Hopefully boss man comes up with some shit next week from WA. I'll be applying for quite a few jobs this weekend, regardless.

I now have next week off.

I think it will pick back up once demand calls for it!

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

Just got an awesome reference letter from one of my biggest clients to add to the resume. So good. Especially when it is from the office of the CFO of a major insurance company.

WINNING.
