I can't stand using the Apple where we are house sitting - not because it's 'new and scary' but because it's fuuuuuckin' SOOOO SLOWWWWWWWWWW. I think it must've copped one hell of a hiding over it's life.

Also, internet in the township, slower than my internet out here? Nonsense.

Just got onto autobarn. $240 for the set with the 20% discount. Part number is KSFL-22 and KSRL-39. Thinking I might go in and order them on friday.

Whenever I cough, it's always buried deep into my arm or something… But I rarely cough :P

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Well, by your theory, the internet in cities should be far, far slower than that of my rural area.

Dial-up was effected, but I can't see how wireless would matter. It's just 'there'... isn't it? I'm not going to pretend to know what I'm talking about. But your reasoning seems backwards.

Not entirely.

Same basic concept as dialup, all wireless use in your area feeds back to a central point (ie. the nearest phone tower) and X amount of bandwidth is fed to that tower.

In practice it's much faster than dialup though....obviously ;)
