its called anti hijack mode so if you get hijacked the car will turn off and wont start when the hijacker gets far enough away

you can set the alarm to

vallet mode = 10 starts before code is needed
manual arm = you have to punch in the code to arm the alarm
auto arm = code will be needed each start
antihijack on or off

thanks guys, keen to start modifying it but first off i really want to take out the alarm system in it. its driving me insane. i cant get oyut of the car while the engine is running or else the alarm shits itself aswell as having to punch in the security code in the keypade everytime i turn the car on. i know realise why so many people hated the brandt alarms.

I thought i would have more then this done by now but heres a little update anyway.

Cannon tip snapped off driving up a mates driveway and now looked more rediculous then it sounded so it was replaced with an mp02 and 3" stainless steel diff back.

Also picked up roof fins from Blacktop. Now i just have to get my act together and book the car in to get the the front sti splitters and lip painted i have sitting in the garage as well as the boot resprayed as it has a pretty noticable dent and huge x keyed into it.

Finally had the front splitters painted as well as the key mark and dent in the boot taken out. Then painted the lip myself with some matt black to match the skirts. Only problem now is i will have to do oil changes in the neighbours driveway as the wrx is too low to get down mine.

i got it done at simply smashing in west gosford morgan. turned out pretty good.

the car got a bit of attention over the holidays. Ended up getting front and rear DBA t2 slotted rotors from the family for christmas and a couple of mates gave me 6" Alpine type r's for my birthday. And finally baught new 595's to replace the defectably bald kuhmos on the front.
