Hey Guys, so a lot of you Gen 2 drivers have projector headlights and all you Gen 4 guys have them standard... but what about us lowly Gen 3 men who want in on the action? where can i get a projector kit to fit the facelift model Gen 3? or can i get the same one used in the Gen 2's?
or perhaps there is someone in Sydney in which i can give my moneys to do this for me?

please help. i have been looking on forums and Japanparts.com and IM etc etc and keep coming to dead ends in dodgy internet alley ways.

i have seen this only on 1 Gen 3 at a meet but didn't think to talk to the guy about it. i think he was from Newie maybe?

help please?

Leon has some on his Gen 3 B4 and you can get kits off ebay.....personally i don't like the idea i like the look of the factory stuff, and ive heard it's messy to take the headlight apart and fit the things into it....

P.s you didnt grab that piller plastic the other day...

Yeah I remembered last night. But I want projectors and I don't mind getting messy. I'm already making mince of my tailights so I may as well. Plus I really like the look

Yup. Shiv has them on his gen3 outback. He bought the kit off eBay from memory and took it to someone in syd to retro fit them.

Pretty sure the projector kit is for a Lexus RX?

For the whole exercise, it cost about $300-400 IIRC.

Cibie projector headlights!

Some angel eye rings would give the same look for less effort to fit.

Halo's look **** on gen 3, maybe on the fogs. It's more for the practicality side of things, if I get the projectors I'll eventually put HID's. I realise the illegality of it but I'm not going to go overboard with having 6000K globes. Police shouldn't give me too much hassle out my way. It's more for the fact of having better vision at night, especially in the rain. I'm more than happy to spend $300-$400 for it. I'll give shiv a PM and see what he has to say

thanks of the input guys. i appreciate it.

I had a friend / work collegue of mine do it for me.

I can ask him if he'd be able to do a set for you and get you a price if you're interested?

No worries, I'll get back to you via PM whenever I next see him this week.

They all come with CCFL's standard and you can specify colour. Mines wired up independently by a switch. The one bd-850 posted is exactly the same, just a single unit because its for a bike.
