stop wasting money and buy a foz already. haha nah jks (not really) looks very clean now


Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

Haha I know but my mate who wants to buy it has to sell his Patrol first. Only problem is that I sort of want to keep it now.

 

Not sure if I want a Foz or a Mazda 3 MPS now...

Sale has fallen through for the time being but I picked up these for an absolute steal.

20mm rear sway bar and a diff back. The muffler has a real deep tone and isn't as loud as my X Force. It actually sounds identical to a Hi Tech.

MRT cannon is on and it's my favourite sounding muffler so far.

Car is going on the dyno tomorrow morning :) So keen to see what it makes.

Yeah he said it would make around 180 on most other Dynos, his is just really hard to pull decent numbers on.

It can keep up with a 300rwkw XR6T from a rolling start so it definitely makes more than 163. It also pulls away from a cammed 260rwkw XR8, a tuned XR5T and 235rwkw SS.

At the end of the day it's just a number and I'm really happy with the way it drives.

Add approx 9% to your power figure to compare to the RWD boys. Thats about what the losses through the AWD drivetrain are.


MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it. In process of being stripped and sold off.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon. Scrapped.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. Scrapped.

MY13 BRG, current daily, very nice to drive, small mods to make it even nicer again.
