Hey, I recently bought a gen3 liberty and was wonder how I can get a rexy rumble. I currently have a 2.25” lukey cat back exhaust but has no rumble what so ever.

I have heard of people putting Gen1 headers on their cars but not sure if they will fit my car?

Also read people putting headers from ebay on their cars but also not sure if they will fit my car?

Really want some sort of Subaru rumble but not sure what’s available and what fits.

I made this bloody thread to stop threads like this.

Obviously wasted my time doing it.

Yes get Gen 1 headers. Still won't sound like a WRX no matter what you do though.

Find Borla UEL headers. Probably replica.

Put on exhaust.

Burble.

Exhaust leak.

Just makes it louder. I and the new owner of my wagon have ran them for ages with no problems. They are much cheaper than Borla replicas and in my opinion sound better and best of all they don't crack like the shitty eBay headers.

Louder and a bit of rumble is all i really want and they fact that they dont crack is also a good thing :)

The headers will bolt straight on? just need to extend them?

Yeah mate, need to be extended about 2 inches. They cost around $60 to extend at an exhaust shop and they cost about $50 to buy. Just make sure the exhaust shop plugs in the O2 sensor, otherwise it will throw a CEL.

Hi,

Remove one ignition lead to generate the right uneven engine note. Turn key and enjoy the uneven engine rumble

please note this will have an adverse effect on power.
