i dont see why they arent real conversions? mine went better than my sti
and most the other guys on here with conversions are going strong and to my knowlegde are done properly

what is a proper conversion if i may ask?

yeah i guess i gotta stop telling people mines a conversion when really it's just a lightly modified n/a liberty with a wrx engine, turbo, gearbox etc that came from a halfcut.

I mean, I probably didn't act as mature as I could have, but I did feel like I copped a lot of shit.

Although, saying mine was one of the only real conversions is a bit of a stretch, I mean, I put something different in sure, but I didn't do the work myself. Aaron (for example) did his in his garage, after work every day for a week... I just took a holiday to QLD and paid someone to do the work for me.

Although, mine did cost a shitload more than most conversions, required and engineers report and many hours of tuning. I still can't believe I ended up with a $20k loan at 20 years of age... What was I thinking?

Oh well, I learnt a lot, had a lot of fun and still think that I created one of the fastest non-turbo subaru's in Australia.

If I had more money I would have kept it, done cams and a retune and aimed for 160-170awkw... Keeping it NA was a bit of a "screw you" to you guys and other haters actually. I wanted to really show what an NA suby was capable of.

Luckily for me the guy who bought it off me is little more than a phone call away, and is very willing to spend the money I didn't have, making it even faster. I just hope he doesn't kill himself, my sister or anyone else for that matter, in the process.

Hehe what I meant by conversion, was ripping an engine out and converting it to something completely different, what I meant by one of the only' is referring to Subyclub and ozfail

As for retracting my statement about Ass-hats? Nope! I love that term, and put myself square in that category as the head honcho!!
