When i picked out my watch after insurance came through, i was checking out Skagen watches. Jap movements, but i really liked some of the designs of the bodies and faces and such. Vicky ended up getting one.

Sig worthy.

the Cadence 4:20 range is pretty funny.

Pretty new brand, originally made for rowing. then geeks, then stoners and finally everyone else

Skagen aren't my scene, but I think they are put together well.

Got my MVMT's.

They are rubbish. Think I'll send them back.

Would you recommend it Aek?

no idea sorry mate. it's a very new brand so haven't really heard much about them except they make some interesting and quirky pieces. if it were my money i'd be looking else where

Got my MVMT's.

i didn't want to say anything as everyone seemed to be having a nice time but yeah..

Skagen aren't my scene, but I think they are put together well.

yeah me either. they're made by Fossil so probably decent quality. they always seem to be on sale on overstock websites so you can find them for pretty cheap if you look around

I appreciate the honesty, thanks man. For the Cadence and MVMT watches. I've had no issues with mine as of yet although I do see where it might be a bit flimsy.

I can't describe it, but tomorrow (if I remember) I'll take a photo and explain what is wrong with mine. I can still wear it, but when it comes apart it's just a hassle more than anything. Easily fixed, but any mediocre bump or anything and it'll come apart again. I'm considering getting it sent back for a new one.

Comes apart? That doesn't sound good from a new watch.

The bit that goes through the leather and connects to the actual watch (I believe it is spring-loaded), one side seems to come off way too easily if you know what I mean. I'm not sure what the terminology for that particular part is though.

Common fault I assume then. I need to send them an email I think.
