Decided to take the liberty In for a wheel alignment and balance this morning, been over 6 months since I've done one so thought it was time to get it done.

Walk in, yep no problem can do. Tell them the please be careful with the car it's lower than you think and the rims have just been painted. Watch them drive it up onto the hoist and nearly rip the bloody front bar off. God help me

Not good.

Is the alignment a 'toe and go'?

The bloke I use checks the front end beforehand, takes measurements then calls the customer to let them know how long, how much and what needs doing to align the car properly.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Driving to Canberra to slap Julia.

Seems like a reasonable thing to do. I still don't understand how we can be the only country that allows someone born in a different country to run the country. Country.

I heard Julia was wondering if she could change our name to the Australian Kingdom, and then she was told that she's not a king. So she thought, maybe I should call it an Empire? The Australian Empire has a nice ring to it, and we own all the land? But she was told that she is not an Emperor. After much deliberation from a team of experts, it was decided that she is much more suited to being a Country.

The bloke I use checks the front end beforehand, takes measurements then calls the customer to let them know how long, how much and what needs doing to align the car properly.

Yep! I get this service as well, though, unlike you I just pretend to know what they're telling me. My mechanic told them I really know my cars (haha, he knows that's a lie) so since then I've been getting some extra service.

I don't know;

This 1986 Porsche 959 factory prototype was used for chassis and brake testing and was built on a 930 Turbo platform. It's one of two running prototypes in existence—there are an additional two which don't—and should go for a pretty penny.

Might be out of my price range!

They just released that premium BRZ, so I sent off an email to my guy about it. Order is definitely not placed yet. I fuckin' hate being so indecisive.

Haha, that is crude, but it is definitely awesome. No chrome bumpers!?! Nonsense!

Nasty Markos. My guy down here is actually really good, even though they're a chain operator (Tyrepower). But I've had some TRULY shocking experiences with rubber monkeys.

Was it all OK!?

Front bar incident turned out ok, after they realised that it is low. However, car comes out I do my normal walk around and Inspect, only to find they have taken paint off my rims. Not Posted Image'ing happy, and it's apparently my fault.

Took it there under advice from others that they so go work and look after your car.

How is it your fault?

Wish I knew. Ill be calling the owner and area manager of the company Monday and ripping them a new one. Apparently they say they were painted cheaply and the paint just flaked off when they put the wheel allignment things on the wheels (great use of technical terminology there I know haha)

Yet they were being pretty rough with them getting them on...

How easily does the paint flake off mark? Not sticking up for them, but it may have been that regardless of how you put them on, the paint was just too weak and it would have chipped. Where did you get the rims painted?

Nik and josh- me and cam painted them ourselves. So yeah was a home job. But have had no paint flake off besides that one rim just then. I'm just going to fix it myself with some touch up paint cause I can't be Posted Image'ed dealing with them. Had they come out and said to me "look we chipped it this is what happened sorry" I would have been ok with it, it's more the fact they did it, knew they had and didn't say anything till I confronted them about it
