changed power steering fluid to a full synthetic one in hope that this fluid wouldn't airrate itself once hot.

Farkin Subaru with their air in fluids issues.
Serviced the RX yesterday. Had it up on the hoist, swung the wheels out of the way to do something and BAM, steering fluid is aerated. Tried bleeding it (was in a hurry as missus was about to go out) nothing. Got home and tried bleeding again, nothing.
I can see I'm going to flush it on Monday to get the air out.

.....and the LHR strut is leaking.

I should sell the farkin POS.

No Subaru is a piece of shit. NONE.

Best of luck though. I hate it when things don't work either and usually have the same harsh feelings said to whatever it is that isn't working the way it should. I'm sure you'll be able to get the job done man. Woosah.

Getting in the pool. I feel uncomfortable.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

You need to get out more.

Yeah I can fix it, but that shouldn't happen.

Bring it to me Mark. I'll dial in 1 degree in the front.

O'neills are *****.

Take it to Ansens at Gateshead in future and tell them i sent you ;)

Cheers cam much appreciated.

Bought a new chamois. If only I could get motivated to wash the car today.

Also has anyone used Repco Eclipse wash and wax before? It looks like a good deal for under $10 for a litre. Plus it also contains carnauba wax.

I've always used the meguiars ultimate wash and wax. Comes in a big container and is bright yellow (and smells really good actually)

Found it to be pretty good. Rather spend the extra on a reputable product.

Normally about 26 bucks for it, but my last one lasted me 4-6 months I think washing my car twice a week so good value really

(I use that truck wash stuff. CR-18 or something)

CT-18

Take it easy with that stuff.
It's pretty aggressive (seems to be very alkaline) and may strip off the wax faster than a 'softer' car wash.

Brettles might comment in a week or so. :P

Hahahahah I completely know how you feel ! Mine has been airatted for the last 3-4 months and I tried nimerous bleeding, full flush, change to full synthetic and now Fluid cooler haha once thing that didn't fix it, but slowed the proccess up was changing those shitty one use clamps on the pump, bottle and rack return lines to worm drive clamps. But yeah, they really are a price of shit to bleed!!!!

Sounds like another issue than just aerated fluid.
In mine the flow control valve is noisy as fark. Might just be that but seems odd as it started as soon as it came off the hoist.

Yes this has been told to me many times haha I just mix up a very weak mixture in Luke warm water. And always try and give her a wax after wash. At least a going over with quick detailed. I do find the CT-18 mixed up strong in a spray bottle works a treat on wheels, withou been aggressive enough to attack clear coats and centre caps like meguirs hot mag cleaner does. Just spray it on liberally and adgitate with a brush. Then wash of with water before it dries and bakes the brake dust back on.

Only thing I have read about wash and wax is that the wax builds up over time and eventually gives a cloudy faded look. Your better to use just a normal car wash soap (I use that truck wash stuff. CR-18 or something) and then clay bar, polish, wax after wards :)

Hahaha holy shit who told you that load of bollocks?
There is so little actual wax in a "wash n wax" product it's barely worth mentioning.
If you want a high quality everyday car wash pH neutral to protect your waxes get Chemical Guys Glossworx.

I love how people want their car to look amazing, but don't want to spend the money on quality product, and/or don't want to make the time to wash it regularly ( weekly/fortnightly). Simple fact. If you want to make your car look as good as it can for as long as it can, wash it regularly with a good quality soap. Use a quick detailer after washing to top up your wax. Wax monthly, or if your using a good quality sealant do that every season.

Sig worthy.
