I got a drive of a VY clubsport with some pedders shocks and springs, Harrop diff, stage 7...Yes 7 cam, OTR, Mafless tune and full exhaust.

So much torque. I couldn't own one, I would probably kill myself in the wet.

They aren't my cup of tea, I can see why people like them though.

Cheap fun.

Did you see the pics of the VE clubby I posted yesterday?

I can see why people buy them too. They really are Posted Image

'ing cheap for what you get. Also if you want to get a bit more serious, they arent that exy to mod either. With the Porsche brakes, the coil overs, the twin turbo kit ( maybe Bi-turbo would be a better description) with all the right supporting mods, the big rubber out back, his is actually a pretty decent all round car. He does say the weight is what kills it on the track.

Sig worthy.

Cam cheers for your quick bit of advice earlier, worked a treat and got it all fixed.

I would own one. But at the same time I feel I would get very bored as they are a VERY generic car.

Heaps easy to work on and bits can be found EVERYWHERE and they are cheap as chips.

Except for VE's, They are a buckets of shit in the long run.

Because they fall apart? I thought they all did that. He's looked after his pretty well. He takes it to the track a bit, and drives it daily, but he gets me to clean it every week, and it really doesn't look like a 2006 car. Theres not even that much interior trim thats broken or hanging off.
