I love painting.


I mean, I hate it, but I love it.

I love to hate it?

Nah, it's one of those things where almost anyone can do, just a matter of getting into it.

I painted my house the week after it settled. Took me two weeks, mostly evenings after work and weekends.

Got all my staff decked out in Straya Day gear today. Customers are loving it.
 


I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I share the sentiment! Once I'm painting its fine. Prep work is shit, clean up is shit.

Painting ceilings is shit!

But putting colour on is enjoyable!

Most of the house has been undercoated. Now it's a matter of just laying colour down. And doing the skirtings! Been too hot lately though!

I really like the look of the disco 4's.


I got asked yesterday by the Commercial vehicles manager of VW Aus if giving me press cars to drive would help me with my job.............. Of course it will :D haha.

Would love a nice TDI420 Ultimate Amarok to test drive.

A mate of mine is a rep for AEG/Ryobi. Was given an Amarok Auto. No idea what model, and he said that although he would have never previously considered buying a two litre diesel, ute, dual cab, that if he lost his job tomorrow, he'd instantly buy one.

I love the Amarok.

It's definitely not your usual first choice for a ute but I really love them.

Did you end up having a look at that email I sent you the other day? I know you did a short response (Can't remember what you said) but you said you were going to have a proper look at it in the morning :D


Feels a bit like they might be grooming to sell. If not, I can't see a massive return.
