Its looking like July.

with international flights you have to book a fair bit in advance to get good deals on them, or hope that the flight has sweet F.A. people on it and that they reduce the fares to get people on the flight

just checked, we booked ours 12 months in advance, so got really good prices, and went in february - which is their low season there. July is the busiest time in America being the summer there.

probably explains the higher prices for it. with any airfare though the closer to the flight you book it the more expensive it is

id suggest travelling august or september, its equivalent to our February/March here. all the schools go back then and people are back at work etc.

anytime is good for Hawaii though. we went during their winter and it was still really nice and warm weather

Sounds good. I will run it by the GF. She wants to go back to bali and I have never been before so I thought it would be cool.
