Fire breaks out on Bribie (likely arson), makes national news. Couple years ago, fire almost takes houses within meters of our place, and most bushland in the area, not even a mention. Grandma rings from NSW wondering if we are ok (srsly, we don't even live on the island). Gotta love sensationalist news.

Wtf is with these news reports about the fires and heat too, its hot, Aussie bush burns naturally, silly humans put a house there. Blame it on Climate change and justify taxes. Ermagerd heat stroke from sitting in a hot box.

Meh maybe I should go to sleep intead of bitching to the interbutts. Smoke is making it hard to sleep.
