Hi all,
Just got some free time to through up a build thread! So here goes:

So bought this car in August 2010 it already had 220,000Km on it and some sun damaged clear coat but didn't blow an ounce of smoke nor did it shift badly albeit gear stick was sloppy due to worn bushes...
IMG_0078.jpg

During the summer of 2011 my radiator decided to explode, luckily no engine damage since, turns out the O-clamp was tightened a bit to much, so I bought a cool-pro Al. radiator plus Blue Silicon hoses and have had no problems since. Some time later I replaced my shifter with a Kartboy Shifter + Bushes and got some evil Bob Jane T-mart Zenons craptastic tires. As well as a Genome Front Strut Brace.

Then I had some fun trying to get a new grill. At this point I had little knowledge of my Rev A/B/C car vs D/E, so I headed out to the Central Coast and picked up my new grill. Then proceded to Matt's house to test fit a Carbon Fibre Deflector he had for sale. So he gave me a hand to install the grill which ended up badly and I found out I had a A/B/C revision car! Luckily he bought the grill off me! At this stage I did not know about his build. So he gave me some helpful modding tips and upgrade options/ideas as well as showing me his very clean Gen 3 Liberty. I then headed home home mulling on what I had found out.

Late 2011 I finally I bought my set of Bilsteins with RSR Ti Springs and JDM HIDs from Ben at Ichiban

I got some nice WRX rims from a member on RS Liberty and installed my HID's, clear side indicators and rear strut brace:

IMG_0198.jpg
(P.S I love good year F1 DS-G3 Symmetrical)

About Mid 2012 I headed down to Wollongong to pick up some interior pieces and spats:
IMG_0514.jpg
note: Still haven't installed spats or spare grill coz lazy.

Then of all things the A/C failed what a sad sad day that was :( so I purchased a second hand compressor from Cardiff Automotive and got that installed/regassed. But the unthinkable happened on the way home and I stupidly pulled out in front of someone and bam smashed rear tail light and bumper damage other car was fine... Luckily. So time to save up for a respray and JDM garnish!
IMG_0511.jpg

Gearbox shat itself so I replaced it with a dual range gearbox from Sam, and also added B4 Calipers with DBA 4000, QFM HPX pads and Hel S/S brakelines all work done by me and a few mates to help lift the gearbox :P saving the $$$.

IMG_0479.jpg

I am now just sorting out my rear brake lines, painting my custom grill and spats. Legacy RSK front bar to be purchased as well a JDM Legacy rear garnish then re-spray and dint removal!

Mod list (5/04/14):

X-force exhaust

JDM Bilstein shocks with RSR Ti Springs

JDM Legacy HID Headlights

Genome Front Strut Brace

Cusco carbon fibre rear strut brace

Cool Pro Al radiator with black stock 02 WRX coolant hoses

Custom painted red B4 brakes F+R with DBA T2 rotors and QFM A1RM pads

Red Hel brake lines all round

Hardrace engine mounts, pitch stopper, and transmission mount

Kart boy gear assembly bushes F+R

02 WRX rims with Goodyear F1 Directional 5 215/45R17

Yeah good shifts nice and smooth, especially after I did a full flush of gearbox oil! Just need to put the rear diff in as well and new mounts and the suby should feel like new :)
