Finally got the Subaru parts from the USA which I need to get the engine ready to drop in!

Cheers...no rush as mine are fine

Yep sure do....so awesome for low to mid range turbos...they fall over a bit when chasing stupid power though

they are a work of art :)

Anyone know how hard it is to fit a r180 diff into the Legacy/Liberty? For some reason the diff is not fitting on to the cradle/cross member!

Should bolt up fine. But there's no driveshafts that suit the R180 inner and the BE/BH hubs.
The best option is to get AM Auto to machine the hubs out for STI wheel bearings.

Nice to know the 180 bolts up. Hubs will need work as mentioned, mainly because of the ABS tone rings I believe. As Luke said, speak to Al. He's done it before.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it. In process of being stripped and sold off.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon. Scrapped.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. Scrapped.

MY13 BRG, current daily, very nice to drive, small mods to make it even nicer again.

So will I need the Sti stub axles and sti bearings? What about the r180 backing plate, r180 handbrake and Brembo brakes?

Ok...I have figured out that the R180 diff fits but the Perrin diff cover is too big. Have changed back to factory cover now.​ Now to sort out the rear hubs and drive shafts....
