Do it Nikko! that would be awesome! I was showing AMSY last night where I am going next week, maybe just for a day trip from Mum and Dads or maybe I will camp out there over night (see what I can be Posted Image'ed doing)

New England National Park, Is called a Antarctic Beech Rainforest (NFI what it has to do with antarctica) but it makes up part of the Gondwana Rainforests, really ancient shit, basically everything is covered in moss and stuff.

Also, Apsley falls are not far away either, so might pop by here :D

Very cool. Virgin forest is pretty hard to come by in WA, it's all regrowth because we chopped it all down a hundred years ago.

Also, we only have huge waterfalls like that all the way up north in the gorge country. Never been north. The climate really doesn't suit Nik's.

Yeah, The Macleay used to be full of really nice forests and massive amounts of really tall Red Cedar Trees (not as tall as Karri, but still can be over 50m tall) but loggers chopped mass amounts of it down at the turn of the century, now you have to head up to the top of the valley to get to it. Its all hilly and gorge country up there which makes for some nice scenery, lots of waterfalls and shiz to see :D

Hahah yeah Northern WA would be way too hot and dry for me too Nikko!

grrrr unable to check in online. Now I have to queue at the airport. phooey

Must be me but I have never found airport check ins to be a problem.

open the door to the house to find the pets
and then calling out neighbours name we hear a muffled voice, he had fallen in the shower some 20 hours earlier and was stuck on the ground until
we found him.

We were originally thinking the worst, however luckily although he was cold and disoriented he was still in good spirits, called an ambo and got him to
hosptial, so hopefully he is gonna be all good, he is a stubborn bastard after all :)

Fark! 20 hours. Thats crazy. Glad he was alright in the end.

Yeah do it one day Yadam, Such a massive park though, would take you a significant amount of time to see it all, it is literally hundreds of Km of the stuff. Big altitude range too, goes from about 100m to 1600m .

^^ This is true... :)

But I post most of my stuff while I'm at work... good job hey? Lol!

I'm a Test Engineer.... so developers give me software to test, I break it, they go back and fix it, and I go on SC... :)

Maybe you should... but there is a bit of a process to it... and I use automation, so I write code, so I have software that runs while I sleep to break the code the developers write... LOL!

So I write software to break software... so much fun... and when the developers see me walking up to them, then groan, knowing I'm going to give them tonnes of work to do... and while they are doing it, I'm chilling on SC or listening to music...

Since I'm a senior, and I use automation, I do get paid the big bucks too... but most goes to my Mortgage... and wife and baby take a fair chunk too... they have very good taste in things... lol... remainder goes to my B4... if any...

See that's the problem. They get smart people that know what they're doing to test it. Which is all well and good. Then they sell it tech-tards like me, and we can't use it.

Had an awesome opportunity to go in on some pig from a local, literally backyard pig status (sidenote: the marriage fell apart and he was unable to tend to his pigs as she got the house and put a restraining order on him, so the only option was slaughter - sad story, but you don't get more local pork than this) - so feeling as I've been slacking a bit in the kitchen recently, made up some rolled pork loin, wrapped in prosciutto, stuffed with spring onion, bacon, spinach and ricotta - chucked it over some rosemary cream mash tater's and made up a calvados sauce.

The sauce was 'amaze balls' - the pork was a bit... tough, but still, local as all pork/fork!
