Looks very much to me like you have got a custom cat back with a resonator. The dumps are definitely stock though. Any pics of where the centre pipe joins the dumps? Might want to check that you have a second cat in the centre pipe too.

Pete doesn't like delvac because it's a diesel oil FULL and i mean FULL of detergents. (You need them to keep your dirty DIESEL engine operating correctly)

Petrol cars need lots of lubrication, Not detergents.

It doesn't burn up as much because it's a high temp diesel oil. I believe this is why some guys have made the switch. It's very cheap as well.

People love it in noisy boxers because it cleans the crap out of the engine, Making it seem like a magic oil.

I personally use Castrol GTX Professional 15-40 in my cars. Works well.

Diesel oil is made for diesels. Not your turbo subaru full of technology like AVCS, Fine in-line gauze filters and sensors everywhere for example. ;)

Cheers, Cam.

Definitely custom from the cat back (standard cat). Looks like its about 2 3/4 to 3 inch. Somewhere in that vicinity anyway. Replacing the dumps would give you better response and top end but that's where it gets costly. 2.5 inch from the primary and 3 inch from the secondary seems to be a good option (though I haven't done this myself).

Would this cat back have gained any power? even a few kw?

Well.. i'm still alive hand is a bit sore and fingers were very dirty...engine sounds good. No oil leaking from the filter or sump plug after a minute of idling. I hand tighted everything until very firm.

The oil filter was a bitch to get off..had to hammer in a screwdriver to unscrew it...next time i'll get an oil filter removal tool.

Repco did the last minor service 7500km ago...for me it seems like a good drain interval as I do a lot of highway driving (less stress on engine), unless it's better to drain oil every 5000km for some reason?

Every little bit counts. Usually the exhaust gasses cool by the time they get down that end of the exhaust so it's not as critical. That's why the biggest gains to be had are large diameter pipes off the back of the turbos, where the gasses are still hot and take up more volume.

Does the alignment look okay?

0 zero on the front wheels. 1mm total toe in on the rear.

Passenger side camber looks fine with ~1 degree but almost zero camber on the driver side?

I assume the 00*08' positive camber becomes negative when I sit in the car?

A little coolant sprayed on the top cover and pulleys...Managed to drive the car 8km home at 50kph...Stopped twice to top up water. Temp guage crept up slightly over the normal needle position and I was like, ok time to stop. :P

Loving the new radiator. When idling, the fan doesn't spin as long as it used to. Which means I have a more efficient cooling system. Im starting to service the car and fix things myself which means i save hundreds of $ on labour which leaves money for mods. :)
