Did they overcharge you for the oil seal, or did you get two done? :P

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Cheers guys... Its not a simple bolt on job. You'll need to make half a dozen or so holes, use the screws (and cable ties for support) and cut the lip in the wheel guards.

i got the sti lip for my gc8 and had the holes on the lip i just bolted them on the bar took me 30 minbought mine from ebayPosted Image

Nah, it's QTY 2 on the invoice...I don't know what they're for?? I thought wheel bearings were sealed and just needed pressing into the hub assembly? but anyways i'm enjoying the VERY quiet ride again. The wheel bearing noise got louder and louder over the past month. There's no much exhaust drone on the motorway...very good Hurriane catback system from the previous owner.

lol looks okay..the gaps are a bit odd as the lip has to sit below the bumper. Is lip designed for your WRX?

Shoulda gone to Ichiban.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

What oil seals can one see when changing the front left wheel bearing? I'll call the mechanic next week and find out. I saw my old hub assembly. It was worn out where where the bearing presses in, so i guess both had to be replaced...are the prices right for the hub assembly and bearing?

I've been working and been so busy Mon-Saturday and asked my dad to drop my car off at his local mechanic. He's had his Toyotas serviced there over the past few years.

I've heard of Ichiban and i'll try them next time.

ICHIban should definitely be your next choice man. Good bunch of blokes and they know exactly what they're doing. I had my first ever service (since owning the car) there a couple of months ago.

I don't think he was talking about that gap to the right of the pic. I think he's talking about the recesses on either side of the lip. A little to the left and right of the fog lights.

Migoreng, these are prices direct from Subaru

Bearings $178.40 x2
Seals $32.10 x4
Hub flanges $314.95 x2

So they are pretty close to the mark. Seals are a little more but i guess it depends where they source them from. They're not really Oil seals but more Grease seals - so it looks like it was a typo more than anything.

It slowly came out of the hole at the bottom of the packet caused by the scraping.
