As mentioned... I don't know what the boost noise really is, but I guess if anything, check seals for leaks...

how much boost are you running and at approx what RPM are you hearing that sound?

has the sound only started happening since the tune was done at MRT?
if so i would take it back to them and ask them to check it out since they have done the work to it.

nope sound has only happened after i went up the putty road and accross to broke, back down to sydney we had a detour and the road was bumpy as 
, think about it as getting in a paint mixer machine at bunnings, was that bad, i am running 16pounds in sport sharp, noise happensa around 4k rpm...

well i just took it for a drive and no noise, well mot the one i was hearing yesterday, but boost issue is there, nots not kicking as hard, still slight air rushing noise up fron!!! i tried recording but you wont hear much phone has shit and the exhaust is to lound....

yer stoked i had a suby mechanic and another mechanic look at her last night, we ddint get to the pipes under top mount but that where it poped off from the pressure should get her back tonight at the meet

So how does one check for popped pipes and boost leaks on their own? I don't know if I have any leaks, but would be good to be able to check...

Don't really know what to listen out for... also, exhaust is too loud to hear much, including blow off... but oh well, will get someone else to build up boost in the car and I'll pop the hood to listen for it...You would hear it for one

yer i tried listening but the exhaust is a pain to loud, and you think you hear a sound yet its not that sound then you hear another sound and its ya mate farting in your ear...
