McIntosh not Macintosh.
Different brand.
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

lol yeh all good
turns out Subaru changed there connectors in the new models not sure what year but it dosent fit.
He eventually gave me the right one saying that its the older connector even though i told him its for a 2003 anyway
Its all powered up and ready to go just gota get another connector for the Amp and speakers.
still deciding to run a new power line for the JL amp or just use the 2 12V wires that are in the harness?
by useing pins 1 and 7 from the factory harness would save me a shit load of time. but whats the risk involve?

Finally almost complete got the head units running perfect. haven't installed the Hand brake bypass yet so cant unlock all features just yet but installed the amp using the factory loom while running a set of RCA's. just made a harness connector useing the same one you get for the head unit was a pease of piss. saves so much time then running all new speaker cable.
