Hi Guys, Figured I'd post up here as I want to know once and for all. Does anyone know whether the new hatch WRX / Sedan (MY08, MY09) come with uneven headers on them from the factory (Boxer burble sound like previous WRX's) or is this a common exhaust upgrade? I've seen quite a number of them producing the nice WRX sound I am used to, and I have also seen quite a few others that don't make this sound. Someone clear it up for me ... Please?

the only ones i've heard that have an exhaust have the boxer noise... maybe they all change the header/extractors

Hm. Strange. There is something extremely arousing about these new wrx's with a nice exhaust on them - they really are growing on me.

No, like the AIDS I got from you. Pimples and croc. skin on pen island is all gone, you sucked the puss out of the pimples and licked the scales off - yummo. Anyone here test driven the new wrx (MY09) or STi? There was someone I think..

Love the front, hate the back.

Can't go wrong with 194kw stock. The new WRX sedan looks like a kia but the hatch I'm starting to like

AHhhh HA! I like the new (well not really new anymore) WRX. The shape was a shock at first, but It has grown on me. The proposition of more power and better rubber is just a bonus for the MY09 models! Oh yeah, tuned length pipe work Dylan. It was done to make it more "civilized".

Yeah, that's the direction Subaru wanted to take with the new Impreza design. Their reputation as a semi-premium brand was being tarnished by all of the boy racer ricer WRX's cruising around the street.

They figured that they will make more money and have a better rep from targeting the wel to do segment of 30+ YO men and women instead of the "hoon" stereotype that has been attached to the older WRX models.
