What a malfunction and a half!

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Big Roller....mechanic went through 10 min before doing maintanence on it and forgot to reset the sensors....so it planted on the bonnet and started ripping....car was bunny hopping basically. I got heaps of photos i can upload later...just in the UK atm. I couldnt get out of the car cause the big brushes on the side were blocking my doors...i just lent over the gear stick and held the horn to get peoples attention. when the window shattered on me i was like.....dam this is bad....it went onto the roof ripped into that too....soon as it was on the roof i just put it in first and hammered out of there..aami qouted me $9000 damage. $4500 exterior damage and $4500 engine or something like that

Wow! Thought this only happened in Final Destination!!

No chance in reversing out of the car wash? I guess it would all happen so quickly...

I reckon i could have reversed but defo didnt think of that mate....i wasnt even close to looking in the review mirror i was looking at the brush that appeared to be coming through the window.

Holy feck!!!

If the window gave way it would have been so much worse.

Yeah i reckon, i thought it was just going to rip through the car at bonnet height...didnt look like it was going to go up over the car. I cant imagine what it would have done to 4WD or something with heaps of ride height....

That is Posted Image'ing insane. I've never seen something that bad from a car wash, ever! There are so many crashes on the road that have nowhere near that much damage, Posted Image'ing hell. Glad you're OK mate and even better to hear that you've now got a better car out of it.
