Afternoon gentlemen.

My insurance covers a windscreen each year. I'm going to see if they cover for a genuine Subaru replacement.
Should only cost two or three hundred thousand dollars.

I have a chip in my windscreen from the previous owner. He said that that resin stuff has been put into it. Keen to know how you go about your replacement as I wouldn't mind doing mine either.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

It's an LG... I don't like LG. However, this isn't a bad phone judging from this review:

I've read that and I didn't see any show stoppers.

I just had a muck about with one in the airport and it was nice.

Good luck with that, insurance covers a cheap chinese XYZ brand copy. Called up Subaru for a quote on a new windscreen and they told me $1600... Surely they were having a bar of me.

Interesting. By the sounds of things there is nothing that you can particularly fault in a major way. I have just found LG in the past to be a very weird brand. A lot of faults, lacking quality products, etc. Not just in phones either.

But at the end of the day they can still make a decent phone if the right amount of resources are invested into it. You never know. I didn't know that they made the Google Nexus phones either... Interesting.

Oh right.

My contract has been over for a fair few months now. I'm waiting on the iPhone 5S. Yeah I'm a fruit phone man. I'm waiting for it as I have been on the first release; 3's and 4's. I wanna get into the S'.

A word of warning for you gents.

I've been getting missed calls twice a day at the same times every day, and I finally answered it.

It's a telemarketing firm, hired by Telstra. Hard as fark to understand. An because my contract has expired and I'm just basically paying by the month now, they tried to sign me up to a new plan, basically the same but with $200 more worth of calls and unlimited txt for the same price.

What concerns me, is they almost automatically assume that you agree to this contract and it seems like a verbal agreement is all that's needed for them to lock you in for 2 more years.

So be very caustics with your wording if you get a call from these doofuses!

But the S' just mean that the iPhone is getting to the end of the generation's life right before they release the next generation ..doesn't it?

Not necessarily. They release the iPhone every year. I see the S' as being the updated version of the original non-S. Both in hardware, software and firmware, as well as some features (useless or not, for example, Siri).

'dam, I don't know about that but every time Optus call me to upgrade my plan as it's been over I tell them that I'd rather view the plan over doing it on the phone. I'd rather see figures with my own eyes and understand fully what is involved without feeling like I've gotta agree to something over the phone. I apologise to them and tell them that no amount of calls will convince me to upgrade to anything and that I'd rather go to a shopfront instead.

Nine times out of ten it works and they say thank you for your time and that's done. Until they call again. Haven't had a call in a month or so now, but I continue to get email and mail about new plans to upgrade to and what not which is fine.

@Adam;

As soon as I get a telemarketer on the phone I interrupt whatever sales speel they are on and demand to speak to a manager.

Then I ask them to remove me from whichever list they obtained my details from and not to call me again.

EAsssy.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.
