I haven't heard back from the firies or the police yet about my applications! It's a good and bad sign, but I am getting real nervous as each day passes without hearing as much as a whisper.

the job is 50 minutes from where i live currently, im not too keen on the commute unless there is a decent financial benefit to it. im not desperate for a new job, just think a change at the moment may be of benefit to me. i dont think they would offer me the money im chasing though either

i drive 15-20mins now, depending on traffic, and its a rather nice drive, gotta drive around the lake, so good scenery, and against the peak hour traffic the whole way.

an hour is just too much i think

Retail kinda sucks but its all I know. I'm after something that is Monday-Friday but that's harder to find than I thought.

Yeah I used to work on the other side of town, hour/ hour 1/2 drive to and from, now I just live around the corner, or on it depending on what time you got

8 years in, have done alot of other work in different fields, strangely this one has worked for me as much as it drives me insane.
At the end of the day, it's a job and it pays my bills.
