Picked up some interior trim off a JDM B4 and this sensor was behind the Radio/AC trim?

There's a vent cutout on thing for it.

I do believe that's the interior temp sensor for the climate control.

Had a feeling. Why wouldn't my car have it though? Weird.

Maybe the AUDM sensor is located elsewhere? Mmmm.. I might do some chasing tomorrow.

I do have a sensor there.. but it's for the electric windows. If I disconnect it, they don't work. It's so weird! What an odd place to put it.

Either way, I'm gonna do some snooping tomorrow. Gonna install the new trim, replacing the fake woodgrain with the brushed steel, and put in the new seats. Well almost, driver's seat is at a trimmers.

Isn't the interior temp sensor in the actual climate control unit itself. There is a little grill like thing in the bottom left or right corner of the front of the unit?

Kinda what I thought. The JDM one must be different or it's a sensor for something else.
