Weight split is different from sedan to wagon as the wags held 70kg more over the rear than the sedans. This doesn't change F:R bias much, but there is a lot more weight up high on the wagons. Also, it was the MY03-04 JDM STis got the better cradles for roll centres.

Anyone wanting a cheap Gen1 shell in NSW should keep their eyes out in about 12months time as an RS sedan shell will be coming up cheap. Might even have an STi RA motor, FMIC, 440s, 3" exhaust and parallel rails in it, too...

I'd hardly call that a shell "Not Marv". :)
Paul, are there any tracks other than SEQ available to you. I know we have spoken about this, but it seems suckfull that there is nothing closer to you.
For the benefit of the others here, you may want to outline the opportunities open to someone like you to race and who does a bit remotely. Also how you expect to get your vehicle to the track.
As Tony Montana would say:
In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

The Vehicle will be registered, so driving to and from IS a possability. How ever I'm just going to shell out for a car trailer and do it the sensible way. As for venue's, I have the option of traveling to Coff's Harbor or to anything over the border (Which is only an hour away, so its no great issue.) Other than that there are places i can get locally, but not open race circuits.

Soop's track wagon.

i dislike the styling of the sedan, that rear quarter panel is awful!

Thanks for reading, I hope some how you may have gained some information from this. If you have any queries please post up or shoot me a PM!

Cheers, Paul.

Why do you have to be such a hater?? You don't like the sedan? You LOVE the sedan! ADMIT IT!

BTW Rear quarter styling really is stylin.. a la godzilla...

Now, can I read about this beast build up you're doing without your opinions on subaru styling please? And can you not spend more than $10k on it too please? Otherwise it's just embarrassing.

Oi, thats the new look I'll also be sporting.
The black paint dissipates heat very quickly from the high airflow areas creating a higher atmospheric pressure at the top of the car body and as such, higher downforce over the entire car shell.
Shit Ian, don't you know anything.

why do you think victor bray paints his cars black and polishes them up ALOT.. becasue the slippery surface from the polish help the air slide over the car quicker creating less drag
