Last night the missus was watching her shows on TV. "THE VOICE" Posted Image I hate that shit and most of the reality crap on TV these days.

So in an add *brake, I asked her if she had seen the comments of Dave Ghrol that are floating around on Facebook ATM. "Something something these shows are killing the music of the future because kids think to make it in the industry you have to go on one of these shows, dreams crushed, etc etc."

While I can see the point he was making I don't necessarily agree that it is absolute.

Any way she leaps to the defense of her beloved show and says his comments are complete bullshit and I'm an idiot for agreeing with them...which I did not.

So I pointed out that she never pursued a career in the industry after not making it through an audition attempt for Idol even though she has a lovely voice, can sing and has a history of stage performances under her belt.....

Some students lining the footpath to the school hall yelled "loser" at Julia Gillard as teachers tried to gain control of the situation.
As well as yelling abuse, students rushed Ms Gillard and a sandwich was thrown at her as she made her way through the school grounds.
The PM's security struggled to keep up with the PM as students "went crazy" according to one bystander.
The Prime Minister was at the school to attend a Biggest Morning Tea and meet community leaders from Logan.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.
