hey guys brembos for a gen 5 are in the $5k mark, but ive been told if i use the below info i can use brembos off a earlier lib or wrx, but the below info does not make sense to me,
2004-2007 sti front and rear calipers
KNS brakes rear caliper brackets
Goodridge SB legacy brake lines
2004-2007 sti front rotors = DBA 4000
2008-up sti rear rotors to fit the ebrake. drilled out for 5x100 = i have DBA 4000
stoptech f/r pads
gen 5 brake upgrade

I read this one first and was asking a legit question. What you didn't include in this thread was your actual question about the fact that you were not sure if tbsti and sti brakes were the same
