I was curious to know what you all think of the black bar on the front of my white liberty wagon.

i cracked my original bar and put this on and instantly loved it.

Sorry to say, but personally, I'm not a fan of different coloured body parts on a car, unless it was designed to have that look. I used to have a different coloured bumper and front bar on an old car of mine; absolutely hated it.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Also not a fan, but it's your car, so whatever floats your boat chief.

Cheers,

I think it looks like you've got a crappy unpainted bar. No good.
Paint.

You'll fast learn we're not like most people on here...
We do appreciate car modification, but ghetto spec isn't usually one of them.

Don't think of the posts as a negative thing. As much as you want to hear our personal opinions on the question you've asked, at the end of the day, it's your personal preference whether to keep the front bar as is, or take our advice.

If you do end up keeping it the way it is, it will definitely need a respray. You might also consider making things more symmetrical by spraying the rear bar black as well.

Not a huge fan, but maybe if you liked that kind of thing, could you paint the whole bottom part of your wagon black... then it would look two tone?

I would colour code it. While at it I would also paint the mirrors and side strips. White cars look exceptionally neat and tidy when they are just white.

Also you have a GT Bonnet, not a hood ;)

The idea of a complete white is sooooo tempting!
and your right when you said neat and tidy!

And yes, how American of me..
Bonnet*

I saw this photo and am tempted by the look of the front bar, reminds me of that mean look an Evo X has..

I'm not a fan of the black bar either.

The car would look a lot neater if it was colour coded. If you were to colour code it I personally would colour code the door strips as well, they stand out way too much in black.
